Week of April 10

Good news:No spelling words this week!
Other news: School wide EOG practice tests, Tuesday through Thursday! We are also actively searching for parents to help proctor the actual EOG tests, please contact Mrs. Freitas in the office if you think you would be interested and able.
Also, remember picture day is Monday and Earth Day is Friday (we still need some parent volunteers for this.
5th grade: We will finish up reading Search For Delicious
6th grade: We will continue to read Stargirl, whether we meet or not, you will be required to hand in the reading and writing assignments. They are:
Monday:Chapters 14-17 due
Tuesday: Chapters 18-21 due
Wednesday: Chapters 22-25 due
Thursday: Chapters 26-29 due
Friday: Chapters 30- end of book due.

I have been having a difficult time with makeup Vocab tests and have decided on a new policy. Makeup vocab tests MUST be made up the week after they are missed, or students will receive a 0 for the test.
Please check with your student and make sure they have the supplies they need. Many are out of looseleaf paper.
Also, our class is nearly out of spoons and wet wipes. If you can, please donate these items to the room. We wouldn't want to have to start using forks with our yogurt and soup:)
